October Rx Round Up An Overwhelming Success! Record Breaking Numbers of Rx Drugs Turned In!

The Fallon Police Department, in conjunction with the Churchill Community Coalition and the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office, participated in the National “Prescription Drug Take Back Program.”
A total of 13 boxes of prescription medications were collected, yielding a total weight of 244 pounds. Today’s total, marks the most successful results since starting the program in the City of Fallon.
The medications collected have been delivered to the local Drug Enforcement Task Force members to be properly destroyed.
The Fallon Police Department would like to thank those who participated.

In Conjunction with the DEA's Prescription Drug Take Back Day, the Churchill Community Coalition along side Fallon Police Department, Banner Churchill Community Hospital, and The Churchill County Sheriffs Office, are hosting our Bi-Annual Rx Drug Round Up!
Please bring in any Unused, or expired medications to the CVS Parking Lot be disposed of in a safe and confidential way.
Flushing Rx drugs down the toilet, washing them down the drain, or throwing them in the trash are all ways prescription drugs are polluting our environment and contaminating our ground and city water.
Bring in any and all unused or expired medications to the Rx Drug Round Up!
